Kelly's Inn

Since its inception over forty years ago, Scór has served a very useful function and done so successfully. It has enabled clubs to fulfil their commitment to Rule 4 of the Official Guide which puts the other aspects of our Gaelic culture on a par with our games. Scór has become an integral part of the G.A.A. and the Errigal Ciaran club are totally committed to the concept of Scór and all it represents.

Peter John Mullin sowed the seeds of interest in our club back in the early seventies, passing the baton on to Barney Horisk, who in turn 'conscripted' Gerry McCann back in the early eighties. His enthusiasm for Scór has ensured we are actively involved year in, year out. Many people, too numerous to mention individually, have represented our club in various categories, and although not all have been successful in terms of winning medals and trophies, all these people have performed with incredible sportsmanship and dignity and were a credit to themselves, their families and their club.

There have been many highlights to Gerry's reign as co-ordinator, but without doubt the clinching of All Ireland titles in 2000 (Ballad Group) and 2012 (Novelty Act) will be remembered for many years to come.
