Both Paschal McAnenly in solo singing and Anne Marie McGirr in recitation represented the club in the semi final of Scor Sinsear at Cookstown last Sunday evening, but despite excelling on the night they just missed out on a place in the final. A sincere debt of gratitude is due to both Paschal and Anne Marie and indeed to everyone who represented the club in Scor Sinsear this year.

Fundamentals for both boys and girls continues this Saturday from 11.00-12.00 in St Ciaran's, while U-8/10/12 coaching continues at the school at the same time. Membership registration for all our youth players will also take place on Saturday in St. Ciaran's from 11.00-12.00. Cost for one child £15, two children £30, three children £40 and for a family of four or more children £50.

The U-14 boys league begins with a home game against Rock on Saturday 7th March. The minor boys league starts on Sunday week, 22nd February when we travel to play Cappagh, while the ACL is scheduled to begin on Sunday 12th April.
On Saturday week, 21st February at Tyrone GAA Headquarters in Garvaghey, the Health and Wellbeing committee in Tyrone are facilitating a Cardiac Screening Clinic for anyone aged 14 to 35. The screening will be carried out by 'Healthy Hearts Healthy Lives', a mobile heart screening service set up by former GAA players John and Tony Mc Entee, to provide cardiac screening to help prevent sudden deaths in young people who may have 'Sudden Adult Death Syndrome'. The cost is £15 per person with under 16s to be accompanied by an adult. To book a place contact Orla on 02885567723 or email hwb.tyrone@gaa.ie.

The membership draw is resuming in its normal format this year, and collectors will be out and about next week. Once again this year we would greatly appreciate continued support for this important fundraising initiative.
At the recent monthly meeting, votes of sympathy were extended to the following families on their recent sad bereavements-McKenna (Garvaghey/Omagh), Shannon/McSorley (Ballygawley/Dublin), Mullin (Beragh), Patterson (Ballygawley), McConville/McDonald (Beragh), McDonnell (Galbally), Meenan (Clogher).
