The semi final of Scor na nOg took place in Carrickmore last Sunday evening and we were represented in both the solo singing and recitation. Unfortunately despite Orla Hamill and Grainne Mullin performing superbly well, both girls narrowly missed out on a place in the final. The club would like to express sincere gratitude to both girls on representing their club in the competition.

Starting this Friday 14th November, the club is running a 5 week youth development programme at St. Ciaran's College. This programme is aimed at all secondary school boys from 1st year to 7th year and all boys are asked to report to the gym at 6.15pm, concluding each night at 8.00pm. Indoor as well as outdoor gear is required and all boys are advised to take their own water bottle. The cost of enrolling is £1 per night or the £5 can be collected on Friday to cover the entire 5 week programme. This initiative is to be applauded and deserves as much support as possible.

In association with MJM Training, the club is eagerly awaiting and looking forward to hosting the new Grimes and McKee hit comedy, St Mungo's Luganulk, in St Ciaran's College on Sunday 30th November. To date the show has been playing to sellout audiences at GAA venues across the country and this will undoubtedly be the case on 30th November. A limited number of tickets are available in Pat Traynor's shop, Kellys Inn or from any adult player or committee member. A show not to be missed!

With the festive season a matter of a few short weeks away, it may be worth considering some club gear as a gift. Any orders can be taken at the club shop in Dunmoyle or by contacting Ciaran Mullin 07825705819.
