Club Notes 14/12/15

The five letters drawn in the Club Errigal Alphalot on Monday night were D F I R W. There was no jackpot winner this week, but Ann Gorman successfully matched 4 and won £200. Congratulations. The jackpot increases to £13,000 with the next draw taking place next Monday night.

Anyone interested in helping out in anyway with managing the club’s Junior team in 2016 is asked to contact Malachi McCann on 028 80758910 before Friday 18th December. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a coaching career to gain valuable experience. Coaching courses, if required will be made available for all successful applicants. The club would also welcome the presence and assistance of anyone with a first aid qualification or medical expertise at Junior matches in the coming season. Please contact Malachi on the number above if you can help out.

Thank you to everyone who have helped out with selling tickets for the development draw to date. There will be a meeting for all group leaders in early January, details will be provided in the New Year.

Scor is a GAA competition that promotes Irish culture, covering ceili and set dancing, solo singing, recitation, instrumental music, ballad group singing and table quiz.  The club has a strong tradition of success in this competition, and given the wealth of talent in the area, there is no reason why this should not continue.  The senior scor, for people over 17 years of age, is due to start in January, and representation in as many competitions as possible would be appreciated.  If anyone is interested in participating, contact Anne Marie McGirr on 07795198710 as soon as possible.

The club shop will be open for Errigal Ciaran Merchandise on Friday 18th of December from 6- 7pm. Anyone interested in purchasing any items, please contact Ciaran Mullin on 07825705819. This will be last opportunity to buy club merchandise before Christmas.

Good luck to our county men Aidy and Petey on Saturday in the final of the O’Fiaich Cup.
